Atty. Tomas A, Riveral delivered his inspirational talk by looking back on how the Company triumphed in all the challenges it has encountered. Over the years, OPASCOR has spent millions of dollars to modernize its equipment and cargo handling operations. It has also acquired real properties and has raised the salaries and benefits of its employees. OPASCOR Founder, Atty. Democrito T. Mendoza Sr. and those 389 original stockholders never thought that this Company will grow bigger than their dreams. Though very challenging, and at times emotionally draining, Atty. Riveral's 27 years in OPASCOR was a kaleidoscope of the best and happy years of his life. He also laid down the future projects that OPASCOR will undertake in the years to come and shared his favorite saying that goes: "Yesterday is already a dream and tomorrow is only a vision, but today we live and make every yesterday a dream of happiness, and every tomorrow a vision of hope". He ended his talk answering the question of "What did he do for OPASCOR? with "I don't know what I have done, but I know I did everything I could."

Raffle prizes were given to lucky employees such as Libre Pa-Eskwela worth P20,000 and home appliances with the Grand Prize of 42-inch flat screen TV. Performances from local artists and the showdown of employees' talents in acting and dancing made the event fun and memorable. Indeed it was a day of success and thanksgiving to OPASCOR!
